Guidelines

Please read carefully the following guidelines before submitting an abstract.

General Guidelines:

Only abstracts submitted through the abstract submission form will be accepted.
At least one of the authors (presenting author) must be registered in the Conference. They must finalize their registration before the early bird registration deadline (June 30th 2019). Please check the deadlines for Travel Award and Workshop application as these might be sooner!

The presenting author must select the type of presentation required: oral communication or poster or both.
Twelve abstracts will be selected for oral communication (8 min + 2 min Q&A) to be allocated to Mini-Symposia sessions. The final decision will be made by the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) and Executive Committee (EC).

Abstract Format:

Abstracts must be written in English.
Authors: for each author, type in the last name, followed by the first name.
Body of the abstract must not exceed the limit of 300 words in length.
In order to comply with conflict of interest matters, we kindly ask you to mention the funding source that supported your study.

Abstract selection for oral communication:

Abstracts will be reviewed by the LOC and EC.
The results of such evaluation will be made available online from 15th July 2019 to the abstract submitter by e-mail.
